Renée L. Renzi

Renée L. Renzi graduated from Watertown High School in 1973 and received a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo in 1977. While at Geneseo, she participated in internship programs at the Congressional Research Library in Washington, D.C., and the University of Siena in Siena, Italy. Renée received a J.D. from Western New England School of Law in 1980. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1981 and the New York State Bar in 1982. Renée is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
From 1982 until 1984 and again from 1985 until 1987, Renée was employed by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. She also served as the Assistant City Corporation Counsel for the City of Watertown from 1985 until 1987.
In 1983, Renée joined the law firm of Wilmott, Wisner, McAloon, Scanlon, and Saunders as an associate where she managed the matrimonial division. Renée left the Wilmott firm in July of 1985 to open her own practice which she maintained until December of 1988 when she moved to New York City. White in New York, Renée worked as an associate at the law firms of Cohen & Shalleck, New York, New York, and Pobiner, London, Bashian & Buonamici in White Plains, New York.
In April of 1991, Renée returned to the Watertown area and reopened her law practice concentrating in the areas of matrimonial and family law.
Renée is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association, and the Thousand Islands Chapter of the Woman’s Bar Association of the State of New York.
